WAX Collect (waxcollect.com) is a specialized insurance company focused exclusively on collectibles and luxury assets. WAX provides standalone valuable articles insurance, meaning coverage that exists independently of homeowners or renters insurance.

## WAX product lineup, two distinct options
WAX offers two collectibles insurance products. Both are available in all 50 US states.

### WAX Flex™ (modular, surplus lines)
- Paper: surplus lines, backed by our AM Best A+ (Superior) rated carrier partners.
- Modular: clients choose optional add-ons (Checked Baggage, Unattended Auto) and claims payout range while quoting; selections lock in at purchase for the policy term. 100%, 125%, or 150% of agreed value.
- Multi-category discount when insuring 2+ categories (capped at 3).
- **Mysterious Disappearance is NOT available on WAX Flex™.**
- Positioning: modular control + competitive pricing. Built for collectors and brokers who want to dial coverage line-by-line.

### WAX Classic™ (standard, admitted)
- Paper: admitted product. Carrier details confirmed during the live quoting process.
- Single configuration with maximum coverage standard: every endorsement on by default, claims payout locked at 150% agreed value, **Mysterious Disappearance included as standard**.
- Positioning: maximum coverage in one no-decisions package.

Brokers can quote both products from a single submission in Consilium and present either, or both, to their client.

- Musical instruments (vintage guitars, violins)
- Comics and pop culture memorabilia
- Coins and numismatics
- Stamps and philatelic collections

- **Agreed Value Coverage**: Items insured at a pre-agreed value; full agreed value paid in total loss.
- **No Appraisal Required**: WAX does not require formal appraisals for most items.
- **Worldwide Coverage**: Policies cover items globally, whether at home, traveling, or in transit.
- **No Deductible (Most States)**: Standard WAX policies are written with a $0 deductible. California and other catastrophe-exposed regions (e.g., wildfire zones) may carry a deductible per carrier underwriting guidelines.
- **Mysterious Disappearance**: Included as standard on WAX Classic™ only, not available on WAX Flex™.
- **Modular controls (Flex only)**: Choose optional coverages and payout range while quoting; the quote updates live and selections lock in at purchase for the policy term.
- **AM Best A+ (Superior)**: Underwritten by AM Best A+ rated carrier partners.

## For Brokers
WAX offers a broker program for independent insurance agents and brokers to sell standalone valuable articles coverage across all 50 US states. Brokers can get appointed through waxcollect.com/agency-brokerage.

## Pricing
Personal policies start as low as $108/year for a $6,000 watch. Business policies are quoted individually.
